This room pays tribute to Irène (1923-1997), my paternal grandmother, born in Algeria. The wife of Henri, with whom she had four children, she devoted her life to her large family, their upbringing, and their well-being.

A true culinary artist, she delighted her loved ones with oriental pastries – including the traditional mouna, a cherished treasure of Pied-Noir gastronomy – and prepared Algerian couscous in the purest tradition, patiently rolling the semolina by hand. A talented seamstress, she crafted clothing and linens with the same care she put into her cooking.

In the room, delicate perfume bottles recall a branch of our family who developed their own fragrance line, a refined and rare olfactory heritage. The Irène Room is a warm haven, reflecting the spirit of a caring grandmother, generous and always eager to spoil her loved ones with sweet indulgences.
